Once More Unto The Breech Dear Friends*

Today ProfDoc returns as ProfDoc and Family (which is not to say that she didn't have or wasn't a family already but...oh god there really is no slick yet inoffensive way to say that, is there?). Anyway, in honor of their return I give you a quote which has both nothing and everything to do with them.

My daughter is 16. ...She routinely hurts my feelings to the very depths of my soul as only your daughter can and it’s continually my job as her mother to love her just like she is, right where she’s at, and not make her feel ashamed. Being a parent is one of the frackinist jobs of all time.

LeahPeah said it but the emphasis is mine. Such a simple way to put something so intensely complicated.

*That sounds right but logically doesn't seem right. Is it unto or into?

  1. It's "unto." Henry V (but you already knew that).

The best I can tell is that Henry was rousing his troops to go, once more, up to the hilts of their swords at the enemy, but I'm not an authority - I don't even play one on t.v.....
