Last Call!

So, this is the last day of 2007. What are you going to do with it?

I am going to do some mundane things but good I think. I'll buy or order dog food, clean up around the homefront, write some holiday cards, watch some TV, get some writing done (this one is important to me), take some photos, maybe have some dinner with friends and ring in the new year with the crazy steam pipes.

    I'm going to buy MeadMaker a birthday present online, fold a shitload of laundry and then the Chilis are headed to Bowyer and Tonks and the boys for Chinese and New Year merry-making.

    I'm filing (gah!), also folding laundry (the sheets and towels I've been avoiding), and will soon head to TJ MAXX to, we hope, find pants that will fit my youngest for at least a week or two. Then it's highing home for chicken with friends, Pixar shorts and some Monty Python before going to bed early. We figure 2008 can start without our consciousness but we will try to watch the ball drop in the UK at seven so it at least FEELS like new year's.
