    I thought this was some form of Kirlian photography, you know, that ghost stuff. Looks like the person in the scene is submerged in ectoplasm, you know, that ghostly stuff.

    It does look ghosty, doesn't it. It's just whatever the ceiling of the elevator is covered in. I have no idea what it is.
