Ooo, the Tough Choices

My street has some stellar architecture. Pictured here is but one example of the high class fantasy dilemmas with which I am confronted whenever I walk home from the bus.

The big one is classic, out of the ordinary for the area, plenty of room and columns! Who doesn't like columns. I could dress as Scarlett O'Hara for Halloween. The little one is, well, not so little actually, it's more representative of the architecture of the area, it's got that great ground floor window and looks like there might be a very cool top floor garrety sort of apartment that would be very good for writing.

Which one to buy (in my fantasy land)? Which one? Which one?

  3. The little one... less to clean... unless you're wdstsia who LIKES that sort of thing... but the windows should keep her happy.

  4. My imagination goes nuts walking in NY. I can't look at the houses without seeing them as full of former lives.

  6. how odd that the little one has a blue roof? Is that supposed to be fake copper, I wonder?
I like the bigger one. Very pretty, and lovely that there's a flowering tress outside.
