Not The Spirit

I know that in the spirit of sweet gratitude leading up to Thanksgiving I should be doing nice things and thinking kind thoughts but apparently that's not me. In recent days no one has directly denigrated my fair city (to my face) but it's happened all too frequently in the past and it seems I'm not over it. The first thing I thought when I saw this post on My Open Wallet was, "Fuck you! Fuck all of you that talk about how dirty and dishonest New York and its denizens are! Put this in your cancer-causing pipe and smoke it 'til you choke, fuckers!" Yeah, honestly I didn't know how angry I was but I guess it's undeniable. The pertinent quote from the article is, "all $1,082 that had been scattered before the police arrived was recovered in full." Clearly those people are morally superior to me.
