Now We Are Nine

These troublemakers are nine years old today. What's that? Fourth grade? They'd be kicked out of fourth grade so fast you'd just see a ball of fur. They don't listen, they don't wait their turn, they don't use their inside voices. Man, a principal's worst nightmare, these two.
They were born quietly under my bed in my previous apartment late one night alongside their two brothers and one sister. It took years before anyone could tell them apart without a close visual inspection. Now they've come into their own. Elvis is the one who costs a million dollars since he's got Felix Unger's constitution. Anna is the one who will cuddle up close so she can cut you when you step out of line.
I talk a lot of shit about them but honestly they're lovely little cats. The place wouldn't be the same without them.

Happy Birthday Kittens! (Now quit that!)
