Nearly Wordless Wednesday: Catching Up

I've made the decision to get a new computer. I'm waiting to actually purchase it until my bonus comes in. Not sure when that will happen. Unavoidable delays have piled up. Decision made, though, and signed off on with questions answered by a lovely geek at the new Apple Store, I am chomping at the bit for a new precious partner.

One of the most irksome things is that the computer I have is slow. Think about how slow dial up felt when you'd tried a T-1 line for the first time. It feels (and nearly is) that slow. This is more frustrating somehow even than working around the things that the old machine cannot do at all. Working on anything complex, say for instance photos, is a Herculean task.

It's a first world problem. I know that. I'll be all the happier to get it for the anticipation, too. Since I don't have it yet I can just be super proud of myself that I overcame this terrible adversity to bring my Flickr up to date.
