Updating the Year
I updated my Life List. Apparently the last time I updated it was a year ago. Fortunately that wasn't the last time I did something on the list. Slow but steady progress has been made. Apparently an unwatched pot will come, ever so slowly, to a boil. I think it looks pretty good, there's a mix of things both big and small, the long term and the short, but I think I could add things to it. Ideally I'd like it to have 100 items even though I know that the quantity of the entries isn't the point. As I say on the page, if you've heard me talk about something I want to do and you don't see it on the list please remind me of it.
While we're at this, do you have a Life List? Did you have goals for 2012? How did that all go? I, for one, would love to hear about it.

ReplyDeletei dont do life lists for some reason. but I can't wait to see yours!
ReplyDeleteMy parent's home in the Bat Shit, ex home... I mean, was designed by an architecture student of FLW. Next time you come... we'll go. I'm with Misti... I don't do these lists. But item #1 is to do. It seems easy, off the cuff, I can think of 100 things to do. But doing them and holding yourself to doing them. There in lies the magic. Happy New Year Kizz!
ReplyDeleteI usually have a list of around 9-11 things on it that I like to accomplish every year. A couple of friends of mine and I have been doing this for the past couple of years... although for the life of me, I can't remember if I did one last year or not... While I go suss that out and then report back to you, can you tell me what that delicious looking dish is at the top of this post?!? It looks to die for (which makes me think you had it on your recent trip to Italy and therefore I would be unable to replicate it!!).
