This afternoon MAB said that today is the best day of the year to be a New Yorker. I've thought about it a lot and I think he may be right. In terms of all five boroughs coming together annually on the same day for the same purpose Marathon Day is kind of the best.
We somehow managed to miss the one runner we were there for but we screamed our lungs out for everyone we did see and we know that the one we missed did well. I blew a vuvuzela for the first time and I loved it. Music Child counted over 100 people in Italia jerseys. I saw Elvis.
It was a great day. The best.
