I went out Friday night to meet some friends for a drink. It was the first time I went out socially and didn't cover up the crater. Neither photo does the depth of it justice (when you put your hand on your forehead one finger shouldn't sink in) but you get an idea what the first impression is like. Nobody hit on me but I was in a (mostly male) gay bar so it wasn't a very accurate test.

So we need to remember that you ARE STILL HEALING!! You had a big fucking crater dug into your head. It needs more than a few weeks to heal. But Im also wondering do you need some of the creme? the Mderma stuff for non scarring? have they "THEY" suggested that to you? I don't know. maybe it would speed the healing.

Christa, you're so nice! I have had that reaction a couple of times but not often.
ReplyDeleteZelda, I'm actually using Vitamin E capsules that I'm puncturing with my fingernail and spreading on my head. I've been told that's as good or better as the special creams. I will, however, ask the derm when I see him next week.
