That Doesn't Look Like 10 Inches to Me

That's what she said.

Doom, gloom, igloos and the like, 6-10 inches of snow with sleet and rain and a side of cats and dogs. This is what they were forecasting for the city.

Rain is what we got. Just rain. Chilly fat-dropped rain.

Which is fine. I really need to go in to work to get the bosses set for their trips this week and slogging through 10 inches of snow would have been kind of a downer.

Hey, speaking of fat dropping, I'm down 1.5 lbs. At one point this week during the intestinal festival I was having I was all the way down to 128 but that's not real weight loss that's a crisis thing. It was something to cheer me up a tiny bit, though. So, I'm 5 lbs. from my goal. That feels good and finally reachable.

Personally, I'm sad we didn't have snow, but I shouldn't have been - it would have just turned into ugly slush!

Congrats on the continual weight dropping and you should get a special prize for using "fat dropping" twice, with 2 different meanings, in the same post!

  2. I'm so proud of you!!! You have really worked hard at this, and despite the sicky parts, you are sooooo close! Huzzuah to you my dear.

that would have been quite a lot of snow...so fun in the beginning so nasty in the end. (as are most things in life) glad you escaped it!

  3. The weather sounds cruddy, but the weight loss sounds wonderful. Good work. It's not easy.

Hey! Just chew lots and lots of sugar-free gum sweetened with Sorbitol. You'll lose lots of weight (just stay near the bathroom).

P.S. I care about a lot of stuff, I replied, on my blog, to your comment over there. Maybe I just should avoid even mentioning the things I don't care about!

  5. Congratulations on the weight! A big skinny kiss! Way to go Paula and all of that jazz!
I can spot exact inches as 2 paces if I am not attracted to the object that I am measuring.
If I am attracted to it... I lose all sense of perspective.
Its not a very handy skill now that I think about it.
