Above: Anyone know how I can recycle, repurpose or...uh...ronate (what's a word that means donate but starts with r?) these? The little one is a Motorola V60 so old that a. it's made out of metal and b. the AT&T system no longer supports it. The big one is a Blackberry 7200 ish something or other.
Below: If someone is in the room with me, this is how close they are to me. Say hello to Audio Girl! But say it quietly because she doesn't know I took the picture...yet. Doesn't she have pretty hair?

ReplyDeleteMaybe google it - there has to be some donation place out there...maybe a down-on-his-luck drug dealer would like the blackberry for making deals.
Probably any battered womans shelter will take them.

I don't know about the phone, but the Blackberry can be given to either a shelter or a P.D., who will reprogram it so that it only calls 911 to give it to homeless folks.

My humane society will recycle old phones, so you can send it to me, or, since a lot of organizations do this, check with a couple of your favorites.
ReplyDeleteSue, I loved my V60 so much and I was so pissed when it died and there wasn't an equivalent. I still have it and should probably recycle it when I recycle the ones in the picture.
