It's not so secret that I would love to get my picture in the New York Times. Preferably not in the obituaries.
That hasn't happened.
Yet.
But it happened to Ulserad. He was in the Times earlier this month, bottom photo, that's him smack in the middle. And though it is part of an obituary it's in my favorite section, the Arts.

I've actually gotten press, but only in small-town rags. Making the Times is, I suspect, a great deal more difficult than making any of the papers local to the places I've lived most of my life.

ReplyDeleteI've been in obits but that's just because my grandparents lived a very long time.
I was on TV marching to pass the Equal Rights Amendment when I was about 5. Not much press since :-)
