I finally got my photos from Halloween at the Cathedral sorted out and put up. This one is my favorite.
When I was talking about the other Halloween gig I worked I think it was Seester who asked why a cat costume would be so scary for kids. While I don't have a picture of the exact costume I wore at that gig I hope this set of pictures will give you an idea of why Mr. Lee's concept of a cat might be fucking petrifying.
On the one hand I wish I'd gotten these up sooner. On the other hand after this week it was a nice thing to revisit for a little pick me up.

Wow! That costume's pretty elaborate. What's something like that wind up costing?
ReplyDeleteI love it when you say "fucking".
ReplyDeleteGreat pics!
NHF, I have no idea. They're usually built for a specific play and then re-used over time. The tap dancing skeleton costumes were built around 1973 and still get used every year. Lots of recycled items are used, too. I dated the skeleton costumes by reading the dates on the newspapers they're decorated with.
ReplyDeleteAuntie, you must love it a lot. I say that all the time.
