Sangria is Patriotic, Right?

My Independence Day has included friends, Brooklyn-made ice cream, sprinklers, walking, cleaning, cats, friends, photos, dogs, sangria, a hot dog with Amish relish, Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban and friends. I feel as though I've both used and celebrated my independence well. Have you?

    We're watching Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. While my son makes a chocolate cream pie. And there are fireworks later.

    Can your son come over here next, please? I think chocolate cream pie would be a lovely addition to my day!

    I had seen the first 2 Harry Potter films in the theatre but then just didn't see the others. I decided to catch up via Netflix this summer so I'll have the option to see Deathly Hallows in the theatre if I want to. They're a lot of fun!
