I have to say I've been doubting myself and my photo challenges lately. It's probably just summer (I know it's just summer for a lot of you) but on the eve of heading to a huge conference of people I don't know but want to meet my insecurities are just looking for someone to leave the screen door cracked so they can escape.
Then we get a whole new member to our group and people say they've wanted to contribute for ages and some send comments and emails almost apologizing for not entering and I stop feeling bad. This is fun, every picture is a gift, and that's fucking awesome. Full stop.
So here are the fucking awesome results of the (get out the) MAP photo challenge. The prompt for the next round of fun and fotos will be at the bottom.
AuntieChili2 seems always to know what I'm thinking. She's in love with her iPhone
Leave it to fondofsnape to hear a prompt and say, "I have something for that!" Something that involves MORDOR, of course. Of course. (View large to read the same sex marriage funny.)
I love weddings because I love theatre. The political theatre of the first same gender marriages in New York State last month was electrifying.
Since I am headed out to meet a lot of new people and snuggle close to a bunch I've known for ages the prompt is HELLO FRIEND.
Please add your photos to our Flickr Pool by 9am on Tuesday August 16 for posting on Wednesday August 17. If you think of it you can tag them with PhotoChallenge and HELLO FRIEND. Any questions, just drop me a line at isabeau6 at hotmail dot com.
Thanks again for playing my reindeer games.

ReplyDeleteIt should also be noted that the background photo happens to be of our favorite place on the map to camp. At sunrise. Just sayin. I am going to try and participate in this every week. I think it will be good for my creative juices.
