Photo Challenge: FALL

Here we are at Photo Challenge Day! Results for the FALL challenge follow. Please comment here, comment there, tweet, facebook, flickr, lick your screen, whatever you have to do to spread the love for these photographers. I know I say this fairly often but this time it was especially hard to choose between all the submissions. I only present one per photographer and this was not simple today.

First world problem, indeed, and for once one I'm glad to have.

Scroll down for the next challenge. (Hope I think of one before you get there.)

I love pictures of Dave, fondofsnape's partner in crime. He makes everything better. Unless he's cooking, then I drool on the keyboard and nearly short circuit everything. That's not better.

Elephant Soap entered a few lovely pics. When I woke up this morning she'd added this one at the last minute. Wow. Just wow.

I just got lshykula to translate my dog's Mexican Wrestling name into Spanish for his Halloween costume. I'm keeping this photo on file for next year.

If I say or do something even remotely interesting this dog is going to FALL right off the loveseat.

This is Suebob's shot of the first autumn she ever encountered. She's a well traveled human, our Suebob, but it took her this long to see the leaves. Pretty cool, huh?

I know this one is going to sound weird but if you consider that I'm spending this weekend making a Mexican Wrestler's mask for my poor, unsuspecting dog then I think it makes sense. HOOTENANNY! There's your prompt. Interpret it as you will. If it helps at all, this is what I always think of when I hear the word:
"Well, a gathering is brie, mellow song stylings. Shindig: dip, less mellow
song stylings, perhaps a large amount of malt beverage. And hootenanny:
well, it's chock full of hoot, just a little bit of nanny."

Please submit entries to the mighty Flickr Pool by Tuesday October 25 for posting on Wednesday October 26. Questions or thoughts can be left in the comments here, sent to isabeau6 at hotmail dot com, or you can tweet me, I'm @Kizzbeth.

Thanks for playing!

  1. wow!!! What an amazing bunch of photos this week!

Elephant Soap's is just gorgeous...and thought provoking. Is that a ghost that's walked out of the graveyard? Is it beckoning to the photographer? Or just wanted one last picture? Hmmm..

I adore the skeleton with the boa :-)

Wish I was as comfy as your dog right now!

Suebob's first glimpse of changing leaves? What a lucky gal!
